Standing Seam

Standing seam metal roofing panels are attached with concealed fasteners. Originally, clips engaged with the vertical legs and were used to attach the panel to the roofing substructure. As panel options have grown, however, it is common to see clipless panels included in this product family.

Standing Seam Roofing system is the most durable and maintenance-free metal roof. It is made of vertical panels with two seams per panel. The standing seam metal roof is installed by seaming each adjacent crest together sealing into one joint. The panels are attached to the underlayment by using clips; allowing the metal to expand or contract as temperature changes.
